Pools borrow Quakers midfielder
Len Ashurst looked to neighbours Darlington in an attempt to strengthen his midfield in October 1973. Frank McMahon, a former Lincoln player, had been struggling to secure a place in the Quakers side and he would struggle again once his month-long stay at the Vic came to an end. He played seven times for Pools.
