Links
Alas, I must confess that there are indeed other websites out there. Thank you for
visiting In The Mad Crowd. I hope your visit was useful to you, and that you will return to
the site some time soon. In the meantime, here are some other websites that you might enjoy.
Pools Links
Your first port of call for all breaking news, the official Hartlepool United website
also includes the PoolsWorld service, which provides up to date video interviews and
match action.
Fantastic stats site from Croydon Poolie.
The other essential resource for Hartlepool United fans
Loads of great Pools photos from Hartlepool's number one photographer, Frank Reid.
The website of the long-running fanzine for Hartlepool United supporters.
Here you will find information on the next issue, as well as online copies
of several back issues. Good stuff, like.
The best and busiest of the HUFC messageboards. Contains a reasonable level
of discussion based loosely (sometimes very loosely) around Pools.
Warning: rarfery wil not be tolerated.
Independent HUFC site powered by the Rivals network. Includes the longest-running Pools messageboard on the Web.
Independent news and views. Part of the VitalFootball network.
Another popular Pools messageboard that has been running since, well, 2005.

Other Sites That I Like
One of the pioneers. Richard's superb site has been around a fair bit
longer than In The Mad Crowd, but the idea is the same: to provide the
visitor with as much historical data as possible about his club. In Richard's
case that club is Swindon Town. That's not his fault.
A much newer site, but another cut from the same cloth, Chris Wilkinson's excellent
UpThePosh is dedicated to the history of Peterborough United.
The definitive example of how to write an light-hearted article-based football
website. This outstanding site has been around since 2002 and has maintained
a consistent high standard ever since. Tony Butcher's match reports are
particularly good.
...and speaking of match reports, treat yourself to a wander around this seriously
wonderful Huddersfield Town site, home of the most original and off-the-wall reporting around.
Sadly, no report on any Pools match, but don't let that put you off.
The Searchable Premiership and Football League Player Database. A stunning and
exhaustive piece of work, and an invaluable resource for football stattos everywhere.

Fancy a night out with some good music? Get yourself to down to the 'Cutter.
There are great bands playing most weekends (check the listings on the website).
By the way, every time someone clicks this link I get a free pint. That's
right isn't it Sara?
